DON’T TELL THE WORLD THAT WE KNOW
Presentation of SCHAAF’s new fashion line in an installation by Tobias Heumann and MUSCLEBEAVER
Munich’s avant-garde designer Miriam Schaaf together with the bags designer Tobias Heumann and the animations studio MUSCLEBEAVER presents a nine days lasting exhibition featuring an open workshop as well as a pop-up store.
The exhibition is centred on the fashion line “Don’t Tell the World That We Know” by SCHAAF. The clothes refer to five fictional characters that are placed in an unsolvable end time situation. The collection symbolically mirrors the inner and general conflicts of the characters.
In line with the collection, Tobias Heumann – founder of the bags label Le Château En Couleur – and MUSCLEBEAVER developed a holistic installation that connects all objects and trains of thought, enforcing them visually and acoustically. The audience is faced by an artistic and not solely aesthetic meaning of fashion.
In the open workshop, visitors are able to watch the fashion designer Miriam Schaaf at work and learn more about her methods in a personal conversation. In the neighbouring pop-up store, they can buy pieces of the collection and have their size changed if necessary. The workshop and the pop-up store are open every day from 3 to 10 May, from 11am to 8pm.
